It was not long after that Helen won the appellation…‘ Helen of Toy ‘.
Our inventory is enormous. We get toys in daily and the true beauty of it is that we never know on any given day what fantastic, sweet, entertaining toy we will get. Here at Toy Safari we have a mixture of New, Used and Collectible toys so there is something for everyone. We strive to create a magical atmosphere that engages the imagination. When you are in The Store we hope you to experience a ‘Kaleidiscope of Toys’, an endless colourful display, constantly changing. Toy Safari has become a destination point for many serious toy buyers from all over the Bay Area.
Our Store also attracts media outlets. The AP did a obituary on Charles Schulz from our store in 2000. Local Television regularly use Toy Safari as a backdrop for their reporting. You may have seen the Store on KTVU 2, KRON 4, KPIX 5.Toy Safari’s sense of Commitment to our Community has even been honoured by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors with a Commendation on December 4th, 2001. Helen received this accolade for the support and care Helen had generously given to the social services agency, particularly Child Protective Services. After receiving this prestigious award, the Alameda Journal did a layout in their Community Section on December 11th of 2001 about Helen and the Store titled, ‘ This Lady Toys with Children’s Happiness ‘.
Toy Safari has been the Principal Sponsor for ‘Circus for the Arts’ which helps fund Art Programs for Alameda’s Schools.
